Our breeding program focuses on health, personality, athleticism and conformation, and last of all color. We DNA test our breeding stock for VonWildebrands Disease so that none of our pups will ever have the disease. OFA hip testing has resulted in good to excellent ratings.
We have "Z" dogs which are white or have parents that are white, and also "non-Z" dogs of Champion show stock, carefully outcrossed to maintain great looks, personality and good health. All dogs and puppies are AKC registered. Good conformation should produce athleticism and vice versa in our book no matter what line is being bred.
Our dogs work on the farm as "official" greeters, messenger dogs and security. They excel in Obedience and Agility and have Excellent noses. All puppies are born and raised in the house
and are socialized early. Clicker Training begins at weaning and is ongoing through adulthood. We use Agility obstacles for general training to keep the training fun and maintain our dogs physical condition.
We feed an all raw BARF diet (Biologically Appropriate Raw Foods) so our pups grow correctly and our Adults are healthy and happy.
You can buy pups to young adults at various stages in their training. As part of the Health Guarantee, you will need to participate in one puppy class and one basic Obedience class.
You must have a fenced yard and need to make arrangements so the pup will only be crated for no more than four hours during the day. Having someone home all the time is the ideal.
