ProperTraining means learning is ongoing throughout a persons lifetime. During that time riding interests can evolve to many different styles depending on the horse and rider partnership. At Mystic Marsh we believe in providing excellent training in whatever discipline works for you and your horse. Not only do we have two wonderful "in-house" trainers, we have outside trainers in for Clinics and horse shows.
Trainers provide the focus of activity on the farm and we are lucky to have two of the best for our boarders, trailer-in students, and regular students.
Erin rides Prix St. George and is a wonderful new addition to our farm! She is an Equestrian College graduate and has a real knack for communicating with riders to get the very best from their horses. She teaches from beginners to the most advanced riders and enjoys them all. She is a John Lyons advocate and can start your young horses using Natural Horsemanship techniques and produce a great riding team by the time she is finished. Come out to the farm and watch a lesson and you will learn something every time!
Christie comes to Mystic Marsh after successfully competing on the "A" Circuit in Hunters/Jumpers on the East Coast. Not only an active Competitor, Christie rode with some of America's best riders, including Pan Am & Olympic competitors.
Her gift, however, is in teaching students, from the beginning rider to the seasoned Competitor ready to compete at the highest levels. A kind, patient teacher, Christie knows how to seek and attain the most a rider has to offer. Specializing in teaching the basics of Equitation and Jumping, a proper foundation is built with the horse and student that will allow both to reach
their highest potential.
She is knowledgeable, dedicated and capable.
